Bhumi Pednekkar Reveals If She Has Used Ozempic To Lose Weight!

Gaining or losing weight to fit a certain character is nothing new for actors. When Bhumi Pednekkar debuted with Dum Laga Ke Haisha, she was required to gain a lot of weight for her character. Since then, she went on a journey to lose that weight and seemingly maintain it, but what bothers her is people asking if she used drugs like Ozempic or Mounjaro in her physical transformation. Now clarifying the same, Bhumi stated that she has not used any such drugs and has lost weight naturally. Know what she said below!
Bhumi Pednekkar On How She Lost Weight
While chatting with Soha Ali Khan on her podcast All About Her, Bhumi Pednekkar shared, “So basically, for this other character, I lost a lot of weight.” She explained that she was in hospital recovering from dengue and losing 12 kg and half of her hair because of that. She shared that the pain she experienced was unmatched. For the unversed, the Pati Patni Aur Woh star was hospitalised due to Dengue in 2023. Further in the conversation, Bhumi stated that people have asked her if she had a rib removed. She questioned what about the fact that she put 10 years into working out and eating right.
While coming on the topic of weightloss drugs, the actress stated that in Delhi, women have directly come up to her and asked if she has also taken Ozempic or Mounjaro to lose weight. She shared that she knows people who genuinely need Ozempic for medical purposes and that she did not judge anyone for the same. Bhumi stated the fact that she lost 40 plus kgs without any injections.
