Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan starrer Bawaal was released today, and it is safe to say that film has caused Bawaal on social media for all the good reasons. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the romantic drama was set to receive a theatrical release, but given the World War 2 and Hitler references, the makers decided to release it on OTT. The trailer of the film shows how Janhvi and Janhvi’s characters take a trip across Europe and upon seeing how much WW2 impacted these countries, it brings them closer. Twitter is filled with praises for Janhvi and Varun’s performances and also Nitesh’s direction.

Talking about the plot of the Bawaal, one of the Twitter users wrote that the film has a lesson from the past for the present and the future.
