In a highly anticipated moment, the Bawaal trailer has finally made its debut, featuring the dynamic duo of Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the earlier teaser hinted at a blossoming romance between them with dreamy date nights and enchanting boat rides, the trailer takes a surprising turn, completely flipping their relationship dynamics. From once being smitten by each other, they now find themselves despising one another, unable to stand being in each other’s presence for even a mere minute. The trailer promises an intense and intriguing journey as the couple navigates through the challenges of their tumultuous relationship.

The much-anticipated trailer of the film opens with Ajju Bhaiyya, portrayed by Varun Dhawan, cruising through the vibrant streets of Lucknow with an undeniable swagger. Ajju, a middle school teacher, dreams of marrying a high society girl like Nisha, played by Janhvi Kapoor, in the hopes of elevating his social status. Despite their glaring differences, Ajju and Nisha decide to tie the knot. The initial months of their marriage appear to be a blissful affair, with the couple completely enamoured with each other. However, their relationship takes an unexpected turn when Ajju plans an extravagant international honeymoon trip to Europe, aiming to strengthen their bond.

As they step foot in Europe, the couple begins to face challenges that expose the stark contrasts between them. The once-happy couple finds themselves grappling with their differences, particularly when they arrive at Hitler’s city. It is here that the emotional turmoil between Ajju and Nisha reaches its peak, as they explore the poignant scenes of World War II in a museum. Nisha realizes that Ajju’s sole concern lies in preserving their social image, leading to a heated exchange where she accuses him of prioritizing appearances over genuine connection. In a moment of vulnerability, Ajju retaliates, claiming that he never truly received what he desired from life, and Nisha herself is an imperfect piece in his quest for a life partner.
