Janvhi Kapoor’s brother and actor Arjun Kapoor put forth his views on the film. Arjun Kapoor hailed Janhvi and Varun’s performances as their best to date and also wrote that he thoroughly enjoyed the romantic love story on the screen. The 2 States actor also praised Bawaal’s director Nitesh Tiwari.
Director and producer Karan Johar also gave his verdict on Bawaal. Even he called the film Janhvi and Varun’s career-best performances. Karan Johar also said that the film was emotionally moving and was made brilliantly.
Actress Radhika Madan praised Varun Dhawan’s comic timing in the film and the vulnerability of Janhvi Kapoor’s character.
Tiku Weds Sheru actress Avneet Kaur also called Bawaal, a fresh take on romantic films.
