Everyone has different views on parenting and how to take care of your children. Some people believe that mothers should put in more attention and effort. On the other hand, many believe that parenting should be a shared responsibility between both parents, where they work together to support and nurture their kids. Talking about the same, in an exclusive interview, actor Barun Sobti revealed how he keeps a balance in parenting.
Barun Sobti Shares How He Keeps Balance In Parenting
On being asked how he keeps a balance in parenting so that there’s no pressure on just one person? Barun Sobti responded, “That can’t happen. The woman always has more pressure irrespective of what you say or do.” He further added, “Even though men try to be heroes and say that they are a huge hands-on father. Irrespective of that, the kid needs the mother far more than they need the mother. And, the mother is far more present, irrespective of if she’s working or not.”

Moreover, he added that”A father’s thought process and a mother’s thought process are different. In the micro sense, a mother always thinks about her kid in all aspects and wonders how my kid is going to benefit from this. So, we try our best. Am I a hands-on father? Yes, I am. I’m pretty hands-on with my kids and about maintaining balance. I’ve left it behind. I try to be present wherever I am. If I’m working I like to be present with my work. If I am at home I like to be present as a father and that’s the only balance.” For the unversed, Barun Sobti is married to Pashmeen Manchanda and has two children, Sifat and Meer.
