Barun Sobti On The Challenges He Faced After He Became A Father
In an exclusive interview with Hauterrfly, Barun Sobti was asked if he also had to go through similar challenges as Avinash in Raat Jawan Hai and how challenging it was after he became a father. To which he responded, ” So, what Avinash talks about in the monologue towards the end of the trailer is about the physical challenges he had to go through in taking care of the baby. Because he is a stay-at-home dad and he’s the only one taking care of the child.” He further added, “I’m different from Avinash in that way, I am always up for physical challenges. My struggle lies in fundamental challenges with my kids. There’s something that happens that is a little unsavoury according to me.”
Furthermore, ” I don’t want my kid to be growing up that way and I don’t want to be yelling at my child also. So, there has to be a certain woke through and manoeuvring that has to happen. Some days you have to deal with the kid and talk about it without telling kids that it’s too wrong what you are doing because you don’t want to break their confidence. That’s the tricky part for me.” Barun Sobti and his wife Pashmeen Manchanda have two children- a daughter named Sifat and a son named Meer.
