Plot Of Bandaa Singh Chaudhary
ICYMI, Bandaa Singh Chaudhary is a film set in Punjab in the 1980s in the aftermath of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. It follows the story of Bandaa, a farmer, (Arshad Warsi) who is quick to turn into a warrior when his family is threatened by the militants of the Khalistan movement who were trying to drive away Hindus from Punjab in order to create a separate Sikh state. For the love of his wife, family and village, this farmer takes on the task of saving everyone even if it means he has to navigate a treacherous landscape as his identity and survival hang in balance. Amid the unrest, the story showcases the larger chaos and political unrest created across the region after the East Pakistan partition and the creation of Bangladesh.
