From Childhood Friends To K-Pop Superstars, BLACKPINK Lisa And GOT7 BamBam Prove They Are BFF Goals!
The two have been friends for 16 years.
On October 5, GOT7’s Bambam took fans by surprise when he posted a carousel of pictures with BLACKPINK Lisa. The two were hugging each other in the pictures, and Lisa was lifting Bambam in another. The duo, who have been friends for years, appeared to be at ease with each other like old friends often are. Within minutes, the post went viral, sparking an online celebration of their enduring friendship.

The pictures shared by GOT7 Bambam on Instagram were captioned “Long time no see, my friend” in Korean. BLACKPINK Lisa and Bambam are leaning close and laughing, their natural chemistry instantly drew attention. The snapshots appear to have been taken in Paris as the two K-pop idols were recently there to attend the Paris Fashion Week.The pictures instantly went viral among K-pop fans, as it’s uncommon in the industry where male and female idols are often cautious about public interactions.

Both GOT7 Bambam and BLACKPINK Lisa hail from Thailand; they trained together and were even a part of a dance group before coming to South Korea to debut under different agencies. For many long-time fans, their friendship represents their journey from being two young tarinees to international superstars.
Both the idol’s fans couldn’t help but get nostalgic about their incredible journey. People compared the new pictures to old snapshots from over 16 years ago, pointing out how their bond has only grown stronger despite fame and distance. “They grew up together and now they’re both legends in K-pop. This is so wholesome,” one fan commented on X (formerly Twitter).
Career-wise, BLACKPINK’s Lisa released her debut full-length album this year titled Alter Ego. The album featured singles like Rockstar and New Woman ft. Rosalia. Lisa is also currently touring with BLACKPINK for their DEADLINE tour, and the group is reported to release a debut album next month.

GOT7 BamBam is releasing his first Thai EP album, Hometown, on October 10, 2025. He also participated in GOT7’s comeback album this year in February called Winter Heptagon, featuring the hit song ‘Python’.
