Another night of the prestigious awards ceremony took place with all the talented artists under one roof. This year was also special for India, as the Manipuri film Boong won the first BAFTA Award. Best Film
The films nominated in the category were- One Battle After Another, Sentimental Value, Marty Supreme, Hamnet and Sinners. Leonardo DiCaprio’s One Battle After Another won in this category.
Best Leading Actor
While Timothee Chalamet was very much expected to win in this category for Marty Supreme, it was Robert Aramayo who won for I Swear. Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke, Michael B Jordan and Jesse Plemons were also nominated in this category.
Best Leading Actress
Hamnet star Jessie Buckley won the Best Leading Actress at BAFTA this year. She was competing against Rose Byrne, Kate Hudson, Emma Stone, Chase Infiniti and Renate Reinsve.
Best Director
One Battle After Another won big again and it was in the Best Director category. Paul Thomas Anderson won the award.
Best Animated Film
Elio, Little Amelie and Zootropolis 2 were the three films nominated in this category, and Zootropolis 2 won the BAFTA Award.
Best Non-English Language Film
Presented by the Jigra star Alia Bhatt, Sentimental Value won in the Best Non-English Language film. The Secret Agent, It Was Just An Accident, Sirat, and The Voice Of Hind Rajab

Lakshmipriya Devi’s Boong won in this category and other films nominated were- Zootropilis 2, Lilo & Stitch and Arco.
Best British Film
Hamnet won in this category. The film stars Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal, Noah Jupe, Joe Alwyn, and Emily Watson.
Best Costume Design
Jacob Elordi starrer Frankenstein won in this category.
