Disney+’s highly anticipated K-Drama Delusion, starring Suzy and Kim Seon Ho, has landed in controversy after its production team was accused of littering during filming on Jeju Island. Upon the announcement of the show, which is set to premiere in 2026, it garnered a lot of attention as many fans are excited to see the iconic pair again after starring in the 2020 K-Drama Start Up. However, a viral video has sparked outrage among netizens. Read on to know more.

Kim Seon Ho And Suzy’s Upcoming Drama Under Fire For Littering On Jeju Island

The video, uploaded by a local resident, showed piles of trash left behind in a forest filming location. In the caption, the resident criticised the team for being irresponsible and even pointed out discarded coffee cup holders that had been sent to Kim Seon Ho by his fans.

The caption of the post read, “After filming their K-Drama, they left trash all over the forest… They even left the coffee cup holders that fans had gifted. #JejuIsland #DramaFilming #Trash #Let’sNotDoThis.”

Once people recognised the coffee truck being linked to Kim Seon Ho, the actor started receiving a lot of backlash. The clip also revealed the presence of some harmful materials like butane gas cans, which could have led to potential fire hazards and legal violations. As backlash grew, Showbox, the production company behind Delusion, issued an official apology. The team admitted that the clean-up was neglected because the shoot ended late at night.

Their statement read, “Because filming ended late and it was dark, we were unable to thoroughly wrap up the site. Once aware, we immediately cleared everything and apologised to the location and related authorities. We sincerely regret the inconvenience and will take greater care in the future.”
