Bollywood actor Babil Khan deleted his Instagram account after a video of him talking about allegedly being bullied by his contemporaries went viral. Since then, fans have been concerned so as to what happened to the star suddenly. While many speculations have come up, his team has officially given statement as to what happened. They revealed that his video was misinterpreted, and that he was simply acknowledging some of his peers.

In an official statement released by Babil Khan’s team, they said that he had earned immense respect for his work lately, and was allowed to have difficult days like anyone else. They assured the actor’s well-wisher about Khan’s safety and security, and even said that he would be feeling better soon. The actor’s team revealed that his video was taken out of context and was misinterpreted. He was just acknowledging his peers, who had immense contributions to the Indian cinema.

They said, “His mention of artists like Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, Arjun Kapoor, and Arijit Singh came from a place of genuine admiration — for their authenticity, passion, and efforts to restore credibility and heart in the industry.” The video has now been deleted, and so is his social media account.

In the viral video, Babil Khan was holding back tears as he discussed bullying in Bollywood. He also used the names of notable celebrities such as Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Adarsh Gourav, among others. After mentioning these names, he claimed that the entire industry is f**ked up.
