If there is one actor who, according to me, is a complete package of great acting skills, entertainment, personality, and good looks, in Bollywood is Ayushman Khurrana! The star has been delivering back-to-back hits with each of his films having a social message and being entertaining at the same time. Beginning from his debut film, Vicky Donor, to his last film Anek, Ayushmann makes sure all his roles are different and he gets to display his versatility in each of his projects. And today is Ayushmann Khurrana’s birthday. He turned 37 years old (doesn’t look his age, does he?) So, here are 5 films of his where he owned the entertainment quotient and tickled the funny bones of the audience with his performances.
Vicky Donor – 2012
The audience and critics both laud Ayushmann for opting for an unconventional film as his debut film. His portrayal of Vicky was such that now thinking about it makes me feel nobody would have done it like him! Also, his high-energy Punjabi munda character was quite entertaining!
Shubh Mangal Saavdhan – 2017
A Bollywood film that talks about erectile dysfunction? Never thought that was possible but Ayushmann made it so! He plays Mudit in this movie who suffers from erectile dysfunction and how his to-be wife Sugandha loves him despite it. Mudit defies toxic masculinity and stands up for his love against his parents’ expectations. This movie established that Ayushmann is not afraid to truly experiment with his roles and will deliver his best in each of his projects!
Andhadhun – 2018
This is by far my favourite Ayushmann Khurrana film, honestly! This black comedy thriller was wholesome in everything that it had to offer. From the brilliant acting skills of the cast to the edge-of-the-seat thrill, Andhadhun is a true-blue entertainer. And to add to it, the last scene left the mystery open-ended and the audience guessing whether his character was really blind or not! I will give him a 10/10 for this one!
Badhaai Ho – 2018
You want to make a film that is based on an unconventional topic and want an actor to make it a family entertainer? Ayushmann Khurrana is your guy and Badhaai Do is exactly that sort of film! He plays the role of Nakul in this film who is embarrassed as hell when he learns that his parents are expecting a baby when it is his age to get married. But how he comes to an understanding and this is nothing to be ashamed of. Ayushmann did a great job with his character in this one and what I loved the most was his interaction with Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao in the movie.

Dream Girl – 2019
You can call Dream Girl my second favourite Ayushmann movie. If I feel down and want to watch something light and funny, this is the movie I go to! I was floored when I heard his girl voice in the film for the time. On top of it, his comic timing and his interaction with Anu Kapoor had me clutching my stomach!
