On World Health Day, filmmaker and author Tahira Kashyap shared deeply personal news, her breast cancer has returned, seven years after her initial diagnosis. Known for her courage and honesty, Tahira opened up about the relapse on Instagram, using her platform once again to spread awareness and emphasize the importance of regular health checkups. Her husband, actor Ayushmann Khurrana, was quick to show his unwavering support. In response to her emotional post, he left a brief but powerful comment: “My hero,” along with a heart and teary-eyed emoji, a gesture that captured the strength of their bond and his admiration for her resilience.
Tahira Kashyap’s post was both raw and hopeful. She wrote, “Seven-year itch or the power of regular screening, it’s a perspective,” encouraging her followers to prioritize mammograms and screenings. Confirming her relapse, she added, “Round 2 for me… I still got this.”
