I wear a normal top; people have a problem, I wear skirts, people have a problem. I have to think before posting.” Ayesha said that it was sad that she had to think about her clothes because of other people, and that she struggled a lot because of this. While she desired to post whatever she wanted, sometimes the comments telling her what they would do to her held her back.

She said such remarks reflected a dangerous mindset, adding that those making them could act on their threats if given the chance. Calling it frightening that these were real people, she revealed she receives r*pe threats daily and wished stricter action was taken. She admitted it sometimes triggers old wounds and makes her fear what could have happened if she weren’t as famous or powerful.
