During a chat with News18, Awez Darbar denied all these rumours floating on the internet. He said, “Why would I pay Rs 2 crore for a voluntary exit? If I were being paid, that would’ve been different. Honestly, even then, I wouldn’t have come out because I was really enjoying myself.” The buzz about Shubhi Joshi entering the Bigg Boss 19 house also became big, with a possibility that Darbar wanted to leave before she came in. But he denied this claim, stating that he had ‘no fear,’
He also said that coming as a ‘wildcard’ in the Bigg Boss house has become a trend that everyone wants to try. Indirectly addressing his dating rumours with Joshi, he said that if she had proof, then he, too, had many things against her. But he refused to demean her by the end. Talking about his girlfriend, Nagma Mirajkar, Awez Darbar called her the most ‘important person’ in his life and said that she knew everything about him.

On the other hand, during an interview with Filmygyan, Shubhi Joshi hinted at having a relationship with Awez. She said that they had mutual feelings towards each other and that he also called her ‘special.’ Unfortunately, things did not end well. Shubhi described how one of her friends later gave her communications from the same guy, which left her devastated.
