The sequel of this very intense love story is soon going to go on floors and now the female lead of this film has also been finalised. Well, it’s none other than Disha Patani, the actor who has done films like Baaghi and more. Read on to know more about it.

Disha Patani Opposite Emraan Hashmi In Awarapan 2!

Awarapan 2 will be a direct sequel to the very popular and emotionally heavy film Awarapan. The film will be directed by Nitin Kakkar and backed by Mahesh Bhatt. And the female lead opposite Emraan Hashmi is Disha Patani, as per a report by Pinkvilla. As per the report, the film will be double on emotion and romance, and the story will be set like the earlier gangster saga. Emraan Hashmi will be playing the role of Shivam Pandit in this sequel too, and not much details of Disha Patani’s character has been revealed as of yet. Even the music of this film is currently being developed now.

The report further suggests that the script instantly appealed to Disha Patani and it was a big yes from her side. Furthermore, the shoot of Awarapan 2 is mostly going to begin in September end or sometime in the beginning of October. The team wants to schedule the film’s release in Summer, 2026.
