Well, at this point, there is construction going on everywhere in Mumbai. There are hardly any roads to walk on, and it’s quite frustrating. Actor Urvashi Dholakia recently raised similar concerns on social media, in which she highlighted ‘late-night’ construction in one of the popular areas of Mumbai. She also alleged that the property belonged to the TMKOC producer Asit Modi, and the latter has reacted to the claims. Read on.
What Did Asit Modi Say?
The Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Kumarr Modi has broken his silence on the allegations made by actor Urvashi Dholakia. As per a report by Mid-Day, the producer firmly denied any relations with the property in question. In his statement, he said that he had no connection with the property whatsoever.
In another official statement released by the official contractor M/S Mehta & Co and Mr Jignesh, it was also confirmed that the property did not belong to Mr Asit Modi. They also called the allegations baseless and misleading.
What Did Urvashi Dholakia Post?
In her latest post, Urvashi Dholaki posted some pictures and a video of a ‘light-night’ construction happening next to her house. In this open letter, the actor expressed her anger and frustration over it. Calling it ‘Horrors of Juhu late night construction’, she brought the attention of the authorities to the inconvenience caused by it. Urvashi Dholakia highlighted the constant noise from drilling, machinery and other things that made everyone’s life difficult. She also wrote that it affected everyone’s sleep, and further went on to claim that the property in question belonged to Mr Asit Modi and his family. She asked some serious questions regarding permissions for the ongoing construction and further requested the authorities to take serious action against the builders. Here’s the post.
