Asia Star Entertainer Awards (AESA) 2025 have been making headlines with their starry nomination list. After its grand and successful debut last year, this year has been much more sparkly and bolder, with fans of the winners celebrating their win. Today, May 28, marks the start of this two-day event held at the iconic K-Arena Yokohama in Japan. Music and entertainment artists from all over Asia will gather to honour this celebration! Here is the list of AESA 2025’s first day winners!

Artist Of The Year: Aespa

This year’s charts were totally dominated by Aespa by showcasing their powerful performances and innovative music. This led them to achieve the prestigious Artist Of The Year award.

Song Of The Year- Aespa’s ‘Supernova’

Aespa blew up the music landscape with their explosive smash ‘Supernova,’ which combines futuristic sounds with engaging graphics, earning them the well-deserved title of Song of the Year.

JISOO of BLACKPINK won the Best Female Solo award for her grace and emotional depth.

Best Solo (Male): Lim Youngwoong.
Lim Youngwoong’s powerful vocals and passionate performances have made him a fan favourite and now a well-awarded solo artist.

Best Performance: NCT WISH.
NCT WISH lit over the stage with amazing energy and perfect choreography, winning Best Performance of the Night.

Best Trot: Lee Changwon

The Platinum: ENHYPEN
Another victory for ENHYPEN—this particular award recognises their exceptional achievements and expanding international significance.

Best Artist: Timelesz
Even with one member away, timelesz demonstrated remarkable talent and cohesiveness, earning them Best Artist honours.

NiziU is the best female group, known as J-pop queens. NiziU won the Best Female Group award because to their appealing songs and energetic performances.

Best New Artist: NEXZ
With a flawless debut and growing popularity, NEXZ emerged as one of the year’s most promising rookies.

Best New Artist: Hearts2Hearts
Hearts2Hearts wowed with their fresh image and powerful stage presence, earning a berth as one of the year’s greatest newcomers.
