Ashnoor Kaur’s Dad Breaks Silence On Body Shaming Comments About Daughter
Ashnoor Kaur’s father, Gurmeet Kaur, recently took to Instagram and shared a reel that featured the Big Boss 19 contestants bodyshaming Ashnoor. In the story, Gurmeet questioned the need for such remarks and defended his daughter. “Why is everyone so insecure about a 21-year-old? Oh, I know… they can’t match her levels of dignity and grace,” wrote Gurmeet Kaur.
His reaction to the situation immediately went viral across all social media platforms. BiggBoss viewers and Ashnoor fans praised her dad for swiftly stepping in and defending his daughter.
The controversy began when, in one of the show’s recent episodes, Amaal Mallik and Shehbaaz Badesha were seen mocking Ashnoor Kaur. Amaal said that Kaur looks like an egg while Shehbaaz compared her to a thepla. Things further escalated when Tanya and Neelam commented on her body and questioned how, despite working out at the gym, she is still big. Tanya further claimed that Ashnoor looked older than them in a video clip shown by Bigg Boss. Kunickaa then added, “Even my 13-year-old granddaughter knows what to eat.” Later, during the ration task, Tanya again targeted Ashnoor, calling her “haathi” while laughing with Neelam and Kunickaa.

Many celebrities who are close to Ashnoor Kaur have come out in defence of the actress and demanded that the Bigg Boss contestants apologise to her, including Rohan Mehra, Kamya Punjabi and others.
