The influencer shared a gym selfie on social media, revealing that he had indulged in unhealthy eating habits due to the recent turmoil. Ashish Chanchlani’s involvement in the controversy stems from his appearance on an episode of India’s Got Latent, a comedy podcast hosted by Samay Raina. The episode, which also featured content creator Apoorva Mukhija, led to significant backlash due to offensive remarks made by podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia. In the caption, he humorously acknowledged his recent stress eating habits, writing: “Kaafi stress eating ho gayi bhai. Batao ab kab aaye wapis?” (A lot of stress eating happened, bro. Tell me, when are you coming back?).
His post comes after weeks of media attention and questioning by the National Commission for Women (NCW) regarding the controversy. Despite the backlash, Chanchlani was recently spotted at a Holi party with filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor, suggesting that he is gradually moving forward from the incident.

Following the backlash, host Samay Raina announced that he would be rescheduling his India tour, which was set to begin later this month. He assured fans via an Instagram post that refunds would be issued and that he hoped to return soon.
