In her divorce plea, Sangeetha Sornalingam alleged finding out in 2021 that Vijay Thalapathy was involved in an extramarital relationship with a female co-star, as per PTI. She also mentioned that this caused her a lot of emotional pain and mental suffering, amounting to betrayal and violation of marital trust. Additionally, Sangeetha has also asked for the right to continue residing in the matrimonial home until the disposal of the petition or be provided with an equivalent stay.
