Anushka Sharma Questions “Where’s The Line?” After Fan Films Virat Kohli’s Hotel Room. This Invasion Of Privacy Is Getting Out Of Hand!

As someone that works in the media industry, I get the pressure to find content that can easily go viral and this is probably why the media focuses so much more on celebs and their personal lives. However, there are times when they get a little bit too close and invade the privacy of these celebs. And when that happens, of course, celebs are going to call it out, and quite rightly so. In fact, that’s exactly what Virat Kohli did and he had his wife and actor Anushka Sharma completely supporting him. Virat Kohli recently took to his Instagram to call out a person that removed a video of his room and put it on social media. After his post, Anushka Sharma shared it on her story too.
On October 31, Virat Kohli shared a video wherein his entire room was on display and went viral on social media. The Indian cricketer called this kind of creepiness out and wrote how he is not okay with people invading his personal space and expects to respect his privacy.

Sharing the video, Virat Kohli wrote, “I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favourite players and get excited to meet them and I’ve always appreciated that. But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy. If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I’m NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment.”
Anushka Sharma reshared the video on her story and revealed how she also has been in such situations a couple of times. She spoke about how fans have not respected her privacy in the past but this is just too much. She wrote on her Instagram story, “An absolute disgrace and violation of a human being and anyone who sees this and thinks “celebrity ho! Toh deal karna padega” should know that you are also part of the problem.”

After calling out the people who think invading the privacy of celebrities is a con that they should be okay with, Anushka Sharma said that people really need to exercise self-control and questioned if people are now entering bedrooms and invading such a personal space then where is the line?
I have to say I agree. Just because celebs are in the public eye, it doesn’t mean that you have the right to make their private lives public like this. Like other people, they are people who have a life other than their public life and if they want to keep it away from their fans then they sure can. And entering someone’s bedroom is bad manners and upar se recording it is just crossing all boundaries.
