The 3 million pages of Epstein Files that lists horrifying details, videos and images related to the child s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein was released by the US Department Of Justice on January 30. The files also mentions many popular celebrities and famous names. In the latest development, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s name also emerged giving rise to several speculations. What Did Anurag Kashyap Say
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s name emerged in an (unverified document) in Epstein Files. This has sparked several controversies around him. In the file, he was addressed as ‘Bollywood guy’ and ‘a Famous Bollywood director’ and that he was invited to an event related to Epstein, that was going to take place in Beijing in 2017. In an exclusive statement to HT City, Anurag Kashyap has dismissed such claims. In his response, the filmmaker said that he had no clue about it, and that he gets 15 invitations as a speaker in a month but he hardly responds to any. Anurag Kashyap also added that he had never been to Beijing.
The filmmaker further added that it was some random email which was ‘self-explanatory’ and that click baits in his name were popular than his films.
Many other popular people like Bill Gates, Deepak Chopra, and Donald Trump have reacted to their names popping up in the Epstein Files. Bill Gates regrets spending any minute with Jefferey Epstein. Even the Indian-origin author Deepak Chopra addressed the controversy and said that he never participated in any of the activities of Jeffrey Epstein and his contact with him was limited to things that were unrelated to the ‘abusive activity’.
