Several celebrities have left Anupamaa citing various reasons. In recent updates, Rajan Shahi has revealed the reason for outsing Alisha Parveen from the show. During a recent interview, the director stated the main reason for removing actors from his show, citing that nobody was above the show. He spoke about how he had no tolerance for disrespect, and without taking names, revealed that this was why he removed a lead actress from his show.

Rajan Shahi Reveals Why Alisha Parveen Left Anupamaa

During a recent conversation, Anupamaa director Raj Shahi opened up about removing actors from the show. “You disrespect my makeup artist, the cameraman, or the spot dada, you are out of the set. Recently I also removed a lead actress from the show and I don’t want to talk about it,” he said.

He then went on to take the names of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe claiming that they were removed from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai for the same reasons. These comments from the director come days after Alisha Parveen was removed from the show. For the unversed, she used to play the role of Anupamaa’s stepdaughter and was reportedly ousted from the show overnight.

“It is shocking and disappointing. I am not sure what happened and why I am being replaced,” Alisha told ETimes. She further stated that it was a wonderful experience and everyone loved her chemistry with Shivam Khajuria. She went on to say that she had no clue why she was removed from the show.

The director Rajan Shahi is known for removing actors from his shows – Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Paras Kalnawat was also previously removed from Anupamaa. This reportedly was because he signed the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10 without informing the makers.
