She was booked under Sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Official Secrets Act, along with Section 152 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Now, popular television actor Rupali Ganguly has strongly condemned this action of the YouTuber on her social media account. She also said that such people shouldn’t be spared.

On Monday, May 19, TV actor Rupali Ganguly took to her X (Previously Twitter) account and wrote, “Such people do not even realise when their love for Pakistan turns into hatred for India. Initially, they talk about ‘Aman Ki Aasha’ and end up hating India. Don’t know how many such people are secretly working against the country; not a single one should be spared. #JyotiMalhotra.”

Jyoti Malhotra, a 33-year-old YouTuber who runs the travel channel Travel with Jo, which has nearly 4 lakh subscribers, reportedly visited Pakistan twice in 2023. During her visits, she met people named Ali Ehwan, Shakir, and Rana Shahbaz. According to the FIR, she saved their connections under fictitious identities such as ‘Jatt Randhawa’ and communicated with them via WhatsApp, Telegram, and Snapchat to evade detection.
Meanwhile, the investigation into YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra’s alleged spying for Pakistan has uncovered additional information. According to reports, she visited Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, three months before the terror incident in April.
