Rupali Ganguly Has Strong Response To Fawad Khan’s ‘Shameful’ Comment On Operation Sindoor, Says “You Working In Indian Films…”
After Fawad Khan labelled Operation Sindoor as "shameful", Anupamaa actor Rupali Ganguly took to X and responded.

The horrific Pahalgam terrorist attack has sent shockwaves through our nation. It has made all the citizens’ hearts heavy and fuelled more anger. Following which, India didn’t hold back and gave a strong response with Operation Sindoor. The Indian Army targeted 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan and POK. Many B-town celebs and cricketers took to their social media accounts and hailed and showed pride in the Indian Army. Pakistani actors also reacted to Operation Sindoor. Artists like Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, and more slammed it and called it a cowardly act. Their response has led to major reactions from Indian fans and actors.
Previously, the All India Cine Workers Association demanded a ban on the Pakistani actors. OTT platforms were also asked to remove Pakistani shows, films and music. Indian actors also had a strong reaction to the Pakistani actor’s statement. One of them was Anupamaa actor Rupali Ganguly, who hit back at Fawad Khan. After the Pakistani actor called Operation Sindoor “shameful”, Rupali Ganguly wrote, “You working in Indian films was also ‘shameful’ for us.”

The comment section praised the actress for it. One user wrote, “That’s a befitting response,” with clapping emojis. Whereas other users wrote, “He is standing with his country like anyone else,so whats wrong?just bcz he worked in movies that doesn’t mean he forgot his nationality. He is giving his opinion like everyone around.” For the unversed, Fawad Khan was all set to return to Bollywood with Abir Gulaal alongside Vaani Kapoor. However, after the Pahalgam attack, netizens demanded a boycott of the film. Following which, songs of the film were removed from YouTube, and the film’s release was put on hold.
