Annu Kapoor has always kept it unfiltered with the public. The same was the case when he opened up about his sister Seema Kapoor’s marriage with actor Om Puri. While praising the late actor’s artistry, he also revisited the past, stating that Puri got involved with a journalist named Nandita Puri, with whom he later tied the knot. Annu Kapoor Recalls His Sister’s Marriage With Om Puri
While conversing with Siddhart Kannan, Annu Kapoor praised Om Puri, calling him a phenomenal actor. Then he reflected on his sister, Seema Kapoor, and the late star’s marriage. He stated that Puri was involved with a journalist, Nandita Puri, while Seema was pregnant. The veteran star said that he is the brother of the woman whom the Mirch Masala star “betrayed.” He stated that Seema supported Puri during the most difficult moments in his life, saying, “He would have gone 10 years earlier, it was my sister who took care of him.”
It appears that Annu Kapoor holds no grudges against the late star, stating that Puri is no more and that he prays for his son and Nandita. He also said that he does not hold any enmity towards anyone; however, there is one regret that his sister Seema’s life was “ruined” adding that she has no support. Further, Annu Kapoor also revealed why he chooses not to go into much detail about this topic, saying, “If I start telling those stories, it will become messy because the brother inside me will come out.”

When Did Om Puri And Seema Kapoor Marry?
In case you don’t know, Om Puri and Seema Kapoor tied the knot in 1991; however, their marriage reportedly ended after eight months. Later, the late actor tied the knot with Nandita Puri and they welcomed a son together. However, trouble in paradise led them to part their ways in 2013.
