In a highly emotional episode of Bigg Boss 17, family members of the contestants graced the reality show to offer both support and advice to their loved ones. Among the participants, Ankita Lokhande’s mother, Shweta Lokhande, entered the house, bringing with her a mix of love, guidance, and a subtle caution regarding Ankita’s mentions of late Sushant Singh Rajput.

As Shweta Lokhande made her entrance, the warmth of the reunion was evident. Addressing Ankita and her husband, Vicky Jain, Shweta wasted no time in expressing her concern about the couple’s frequent spats. Acknowledging the scrutiny their relationship was under outside the Bigg Boss 17 house, she advised them to choose their words wisely and be mindful of the perception created by their arguments. The heart-to-heart continued as Ankita and her mother found a quiet moment in the garden. There, Shweta offered a piece of maternal advice, urging Ankita to stay in the present and refrain from revisiting the past. The emotional exchange took a turn when Ankita’s mentions of Sushant Singh Rajput became the focal point.

Shweta Lokhande, with a mother’s gentle but firm tone, said, “But mat bol na. Kuch bhi mat bol” (“But don’t speak. Don’t say anything”). Ankita, in her defense, clarified that she had only spoken about Sushant’s work, emphasizing his positive traits. However, Shweta Lokhande insisted on caution, reminding Ankita of her conversations with fellow contestants Munawar and Abhishek, where Sushant’s name surfaced repeatedly. As Ankita sought clarification, questioning, “But maine aisa kya bola? (But what wrong did I say),” her mother, with a protective instinct, reminded her to be mindful of Vicky’s family’s sentiments. Shweta Lokhande stressed that not everyone might be as understanding as Vicky and advised Ankita to be mindful of what Vicky’s family might think about her continuous mentions of Sushant.

The poignant moment ended with Ankita conceding to her mother’s wisdom. Ankita and Sushant had shared the screen in the popular TV series Pavitra Rishta and had a history of dating before parting ways in 2016.
