Saiyaara girl Aneet Padda gained overnight success with her film, co-starring Ahaan Panday and directed by Mohit Suri. After this, she has been in talks with many filmmakers for an upcoming project. And in recent updates, she has been signed by Maddock films to play the lead in their first Supergirl franchise, named Shakti Shalini. Aneet Padda In Shakti Shalini
As quoted in News24, Aneet Padda will be charging Rs 12 Crores in her upcoming superhero (ine) franchise named Shakti Shalini. This is in stark comparison with her Rs 1.5 Crore fee for her film Saiyaara. The announcement of their upcoming project will be made by the production house, Maddock, in their Diwali release Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. Interestingly, Maddock had released a statement denying Aneet’s entry in the film earlier, maybe due to the ongoing negotiations at the time.
After much speculation, it has been revealed that she would be starring in the forthcoming feature Shakti Shalini. Reports circulated that the actress had replaced Kiara Advani in Shakti Shalini, but there was no official statement. Many believed that it was either her pregnancy or the failure of her last film, War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.

Aneet Padda told Cosmopolitan India that she has dreamed of appearing on the big screen since she was ten years old. The actress admitted to going through false audition websites online, sending ‘awkward’ self recordings and Snapchat photographs in order to land a role. She recalls entering into the industry with terrible biodata and filter photos. She also said that she spent hours on the computer searching for ‘auditions around her.’
