Ananya Panday started her career with Student Of The Year 2. She has now grown as an actor and recently gave some OTT hits like CTRL and Call Me Bae. However, the actress has now opened up about going through depression at the initial stages of her career. Ananya Panday also sought therapy to get over this period and she she gradually coped with the social media trolling that happened because of her statements. Read on to know more.

Ananya Panday Took Therapy

Ananya Panday faced a lot of trolling for her acting skills after Student Of The Year 2. She was criticised by social media users for her statements as well, especially the one about her father not being invited to Koffee With Karan. During a conversation with Mojo Story, Ananya Panday opened up about how she tackled online trolling and revealed that it used to affect her a lot. Ananya Panday said that she could not articulate her feelings back then and therapy helped her a lot.

Ananya Panday said that she used to read the comments and forget about them but they remained in her subconscious mind. She further added that therapy gave her a way to express those feelings better and gradually she could overcome the negativity.

Speaking about mental health, the actress said that the topic is still not being talked about enough. Ananya Panday also revealed that her mother and grandmother also took therapy so it was never a taboo for her growing up. She also believes that letting one’s feelings and ranting actually feels good. Well, we agree!
