Ananya Panday Wears A Bracelet Featuring Guruji On Guru Purnima
On Sunday afternoon, the Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actress shared a picture of her hand wearing a bracelet which had a picture of Chattarpur Wale Guruji. She shared the photo with a caption which reads, Guru Purnima Shukrana with a folding hands emoji, The actor wore a blue floral printed kurta. Well, along with Ananya, her parents are also huge followers of Guruji. Guruji’s real name was Nirmal Singh Maharaj and the actor’s parents held a pooja for him last month. They decorated the room with flowers and shared the pictures on Instagram. The caption for the photo reads, “So much to be grateful for ! Thank you! Jai Guruji. Shukrana Guruji. Om Namah Shivay.” with folding handstand flowers emojis. Apart from the Panday family, the late Rishi Kapoor, Hema Malini and Jacqueline Fernandez are also followers of Guruji.

Who Was Nirmal Singh Maharaj aka Chattarpur Wale Guruji?
He was known as an embodiment of Lord Shiva. Known by the names Dugri Wale Guruji and Shukrana Guruji, his true identity was Nirmal Singh Maharaj. Born in 1954 in Punjab’s Dugri village, Guruji held dual Master’s degrees in English and Economics. Renowned for impacting the lives of many people by providing remedies for several diseases. He left a profound legacy of healing and spiritual guidance. Moreover, he used to move between Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Delhi, and Mumbai before finally settling in Jalandhar.
Until 2002, he travelled between Delhi and Jalandhar and then settled in the Empire Estate house in New Delhi which is known as the Chotta Mandir. In the 1990s, he built the Shiv Mandir in the Bhatti Mines area in Chattarpur, called the Bada Mandir by his followers. The Guruji’s samadhi is now located in the Mandir. He passed away in May 2007.
