According to the reports, Ananya Panday and Vedang Raina have already given the look test for this Imtiaz Ali film!
The one thing Bollywood is missing currently is a good Gen Z love story and Imtiaz Ali might be giving us just that. A recent report revealed that Bollywood’s favourite Gen Z actors Ananya Panday and Vedang Raina might be pairing up for a film together. Nothing is finalised as of now, but looks like the duo has been giving look tests for the role. We are so excited!
Ananya Panday, Vedenag Raina In An Imtiaz Ali Film?
A recent Filmfare report says, “Both Vedang and Ananya have done auditions or looks tests for Imtiaz’s film. They are not finalised yet. This is a big project and we believe other stars are also being considered. Some big names from Bollywood have been approached for this film.” The source told the publication that Vedang Raina and Ananya Panday will eventually come together for the film.

In other news, Ananya Panday and Vicky Kaushal might be seen in the lead roles in Gully Boy 2. The report suggested that Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’s director Arjun Varain Singh will be directing the film. He is convinced that Panday will be the best suited for the role.

The Call Me Bae actor will also be seen in a film with Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan. They are set to lead Karan Johar’s next untitled film. It’s directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and is supposed to be released on March 14, 2025. According to the reports, “The untitled film on the shocking cover-up of a massacre that pushed India’s top barrister C. Sankaran Nair to fight an unprecedented battle against British Empire.”
