As we await director Sujoy Ghosh’s next big release with Shah Rukh Khan titled King, here’s another exciting update about the film. The Kalki 2898 AD star Amitabh Bachchan shared this news on social media and it’s about his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan joining the cast in King. The confirmation came through Amitabh Bachchan as he wrote some words of encouragement for Abhishek. Read on to know more.

On July 16, a very thrilling update about Sujoy Ghosh’s director King surfaced on Twitter. It was tweeted by the Kalki 2898 AD star Amitabh Bachchan. He re-shared a tweet on Twitter which revealed Abhishek Bachchan’s presence in SRK starrer King directed by Sujoy Ghosh and Siddharth Anand. The tweet further claimed that Abhishek Bachchan will play the role of an antagonist in the film and mentioned shows like Breathe Into The Shadows in which the actor has already shown us his skills to play a negative role. On re-sharing this tweet by a Twitter user named Shani Yadav, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “All the best Abhishek, it is TIME.”

For the unversed, SRK’s daughter and The Archies star Suhana Khan is also a part of King and fans are excited to see the father-daughter duo in the film.
