Viral Video Of Kushal Tandon Kissing Shivangi Joshi Is Cute But Problematic. Can They Please Have Some Privacy?
Amid dating rumours, another unseen video of popular onscreen pair–Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi goes viral. Here's where the problem lies!

Why are we entitled to invade a celebrity’s private space, is a question that I often ponder when pictures of celebrities sharing a private moment or even getting married wander on the internet. Would you like to see a picture of yourself kissing your partner, being slapped on every screen possible? I hope the answer to it is no. And yes, I also know that celebrities have signed up to lead a public life. But, where do we draw the line?

And while y’all must be thinking why I am organising this rant session, this early in the morning, it is because another episode of invasion of a celebrity life has me a little frustrated. Amid dating rumours, another unseen video of popular onscreen pair–Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi, has surfaced on the internet. This video features Kushal and Shivangi enjoying a match day in a foreign land.

The video seems to have been taken from above, with an eagle-eyed fan of the two shooting a moment between the couple, where Kushal is seen planting a kiss on Shivangi’s cheeks. Cute, yes. But, problematic? Oh, hell yes! While fans of the couple are basking in joy, happy about their romance, what seems to be the ignored problem here is why shoot their special moment in the first place?
For the unversed, Barsatein fame couple fuelled news reports around their marriage when videos of the two vacationing together surfaced on the internet. Reacting to the rumours both Shivangi and Kushal shared an official statement from their end, speaking about the emotional turmoil that the circulation of such rumours and videos has on them. The two also denied their dating rumours and urged fans and media to avoid indulging.

With constant notices, warnings and requests, the media still doesn’t seem to draw the line of privacy which is questionable. Well, this isn’t the first time that celebrities have been denied their right to privacy. Even in the past, stars like Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma and more have shared furious statements against paparazzi and media, sharing pictures of their kids on social media, without their consent. Well, we hope the decency to let public figures enjoy private moments is exercised more often and their lives are not shrunk down to meagre content.
