Recently, Amber Heard opened about the lawsuit and said that she doesn’t blame the jury for siding with Depp but called out the negative social media coverage.
As we all know, the jury ordered found Amber Heard of defaming her ex-husband Johnny Depp and ordered her to pay him $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. Talking about the case, Heard said the social media coverage during the trials was negative and unfair. The Aquaman actor mentioned that she do not care what one thinks about her or what judgments people want to make about what happened in the privacy of her own home or in her marriage because people should not know such things. However, she added that the social media representation she faced during the trials was unfair.

In an interview with NBC’s TODAY, Amber Heard also said that she doesn’t blame the jury for siding with her ex-husband. She mentioned that people think they know Johnny Depp as he’s a beloved character and called him an fantastic actor.
