Naturally, people are looking forward to their upcoming projects. One such film– Chamunda, garnered a lot of attention. Not because of its script but for the rumoured lead star. Speculations related to Alia Bhatt being a part of that project have been making the rounds online. Now, director–Amar Kaushik has finally addressed the speculations!

Alia Bhatt is the biggest star of the nation today! So, no wonder people want to know if she will feature in Chamunda or not. But speculations can rest for now because filmmaker– Amar Kaushik spoke with Filmfare and shared that everything depends on the timeline and that people will eventually know. Without giving any clear answer, Kaushik expressed that he won’t deny or accept anything at this moment. He made one thing crystal clear that their primary focus is on the story; they will think about the film’s cast later. The filmmaker added that they do not write the film’s story based on who will star in it.

So What’s Next For Alia Bhatt?

Alia Bhatt’s involvement in Chamunda remains a mystery, but media reports have confirmed that she will be next seen in Yash Raj Films’ Alpha. It will be an action thriller film which will also star Munjya actress– Sharvari Wagh. Additionally, the Gangubai star will also feature in Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

As far as other Maddock Films’ upcoming projects go, their next movie, titled Shakti Shalini, will star newcomer Aneet Padda. After her impressive performance in Saiyaara, it will be interesting to see how the actress will wow the audience once again!
