The composer gained everyone’s attention when he confessed his affection towards a mystery girl in his life during Bigg Boss 19 journey. During his conversation with Faridoon Shahryar, Amaal Mallik revealed that he’s still single. While talking about his connection with the mystery girl, the composer revealed that it did not work out the way he thought it would. He added that because of Bigg Boss 19, this particular thing didn’t work out in his life and didn’t reach its completion, which he had realised a couple of days ago.
The composer stated that the show brought him a lot of love and success but many things went wrong in his narrative towards that girl. Amaal added that he had written something to summarise things that went wrong. The reality show contestant stated that some things like his portrayal, image and journey were beyond his knowledge. Without blaming the show, he said that the audience turned his friendship into shipping, respect into dating and even his smile into headlines about someone being his secret girlfriend. Amaal clarified that there was no secret girlfriend or hidden relationship. The only thing that existed was just a conversation, which started from his heart. He didn’t care that he was professing love in front of the entire country. He added that the person he hoped would hear, heard it.
The musician made it clear that he did not want to name the girl in question and bring chaos into her world. He admitted to not realising that reality gets rewritten when the camera, edits and people’s imagination come together. He stated that his connection grew quietly when the world was busy with its narratives, connecting him to housemates and industry names. He also called out his fellow ex- Bigg Boss 19 housemates. Amaal added that he never said anything on the show just get the audience’s attention. While referring to the mystery girl as a “special human” whom he went out on a dinner just before entering the reality show, he revealed that she isn’t in his life now. Amaal recalled knowing her for more than a decade and that they had been friends.
The musician also said that somewhere outside all that chaos was a girl who didn’t belong to his world, industry and space. The composer added that she didn’t get why strangers decided her place in his life. Amaal expressed that sadly the girl and people around her believed what they saw and heard and felt that walking away was safe. He also said that when people ask him about the mystery girl, he smiles not because there’s something to hide but because there’s something he has already lost. Amaal candidly shared that he has never been lucky in his romantic life. Additionally, he asked people to stop spreading false rumours about his dynamic with Bigg Boss 19 housemates.
