Tensions escalate between India and Pakistan as an outbreak of war begins at the border. Jammu region, amid the most terrorised states in the country, worried Indian television actor Aly Goni, whose family resides there. As the Indian Air Force neutralised missiles and drones there, he heaved a sigh of relief, thinking his family was safe and sound. Aly is currently out of India for a shoot.
Aly Goni Worries Amid Attacks On Jammu
On Friday, May 9, Aly Goni took to his X (Previously Twitter) account and voiced his concern amid the ongoing attack. “I am out of India shooting, and my family is in Jammu. I was so mind F**Cked here.. thank god everyone is safe.. Thanks to our IAF,” he wrote. He shared some beautiful portraits of the peaceful times in Jammu and said that he was sleepless and shattered. While his family dealt with the stress of the war, Aly Goni slammed people who glorified it from the comfort of their homes. He explained how war isn’t easy for people on the borders.

The actor, who is from Jammu, spoke about the situation there. “#Numb Pray for Jammu. Pray for our families,” he wrote on his Instagram story. Stand-up comedian Samay Raina, whose father is in Jammu, expressed the same concern. He also shared details of his last conversation with him over the phone.

These strikes happened barely a day after India launched precision assaults on militant hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as part of Operation Sindoor, which aimed to avenge the horrific Pahalgam terror attacks. Despite the increase, India’s S-400 air defence system effectively neutralised the incoming threats.
