Ever since it was announced, discussions over witnessing Alia Bhatt in another highly anticipated female-led action film have gone through the roof. Yash Raj Films surprised everyone by announcing Alpha’s release date on social media. It will be out on July 10, 2026. The Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer project will also feature Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. It’s worth noting that the project is also a part of the production company’s Spy Universe. This universe also consists of films, including Salman Khan’s Tiger franchise, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, and Hrithik Roshan’s War installments. As far as Alpha goes, this will mark yet another project that will further make Alia Bhatt’s film trajectory unique. The same goes for Sharvari! Additionally, this will also mark the first time both actresses are sharing the same screen space.

Storyline
As per multiple reports, Alpha’s storyline will have a blend of action sequences and espionage drama. For the unversed, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Jigra with Vedang Raina, which also fell under the action genre. Alia will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Love and War. As far as Sharvari goes, she was last seen in Vedaa, Munjya, and Maharaj. Reports suggest that she will be seen sharing screen space with Ahaan Panday in an upcoming project helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
