In a now-viral X (Previously Twitter) video, a woman was seen dragging a man and tying his leg to a rope attached to a horse. This short clip instantly caught everyone’s attention, with many claiming this was Aneet Padda’s character and Shakti Shalini’s storyline. This led many to wonder whether the scene is a powerful climax in the plot. Mid-Day previously reported that director Aditya Sarpotdar finished the horror comedy at Chitrarth Studio in Powai. There, they reportedly shot a massive dance sequence of a celebration after the protagonist claimed victory over the evil.

The outlet reported that big sets showing a Rajasthani village and interiors of a house showed women of the area celebrating “the defeat of the evil.” This footage grabbed the attention of many who were excited to watch Padda’s fierce character and action side. Many claimed that they were excited to watch Aneet’s big hit after Saiyaara with Ahaan Panday. The film was officially announced during Diwali 2025 with the title promo attached to Thamaa featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. It introduced the main character by writing “The Protector,” “The Destroyer,” and “The Mother Of All.”
