Talwiinder, also known as Talwiinder Singh Sidhu, is a Punjabi singer, songwriter, and music producer who has become one of the most-streamed independent artists in the Punjabi music scene. He was born in November 1997 in Tarn Taran, Punjab, and was partially raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he blended traditional music elements with contemporary global sounds, such as hip-hop and trap.

He is known to keep a mystery around himself while performing with distinctive face paint. Some of his most prominent songs are Gaah, ‘Dhundhala,’ ‘Khayaal,’ ‘Nasha,’ and ‘Wishes’ (a hit collaboration with Pakistani artist Hasan Raheem). In October 2024, he also published his debut album, Misfit, a 13-track record that showcased his versatility and genre-bending flair. Talwiinder has also played at large live events, opening for foreign musicians such as Dua Lipa and G-Eazy, as well as Lollapalooza India 2025.

Speculations started swirling when Disha Patani went to Udaipur to attend the wedding of Kriti Sanon’s sister, Nupur Sanon, and Stebin Ben. While many videos from the wedding went viral, one of them showed Patani holding hands and talking to the Punjabi singer while sitting with Mouni Roy and her husband, Suraj Nambiar. They were also spotted at the Udaipur airport, leaving for Mumbai.
