Alien: Earth will premiere today, 13 August 2025. The show will be available to stream on JioHotstar in India. The first two episodes of Alien: Earth will drop today, and new episodes will be released weekly till September 24.
As the show takes inspiration from the Alien Franchise. The events of Alien: Earth occur in the year 2120, two years before the timeline in which the original 1979 Alien film took place. For its American release, the show will premiere on FX and FX Hulu, following the same weekly release schedule.
The plot of Alien: Earth
When the space vessel Maginot crash-lands on Earth, a young woman and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s biggest threat. The sister of the soldier and medic CJ “Hermit”, Wendy is a hybrid, who is an individual whose human consciousness has been put into an artificial body. The crew soon comes face-to-face with the worst threat posed to Earth after making a haunting discovery.

Aside from Adarsh Gourav starring as Slightly, the cast includes Timothy Olyphant as Kirsh, Wendy’s synthetic mentor and trainer; Samuel Blenkin as Boy Kavalier, CEO of the Prodigy Corporation and Essie Davis as Dame Silvia.

Episode Schedule
Viewers in India will be able to watch new episodes at the same time as viewers worldwide, thanks to this nearly simultaneous release. Up until the series’s finale on September 24, 2025, new episodes will be released every week. On the day of the premiere, the first two episodes, Mr. October and Neverland, will be available to stream!
