Superstar Alia Bhatt is all set to hit the big screens with her upcoming film Jigra which co-stars Vedang Raina. Bhatt has been playing with audiences’ curiousness since the release of the film’s first poster. With no knowledge of this next big thing, the audience saw the trailer and were shocked to see the actor play such a dark and amazing role. While the trailer received a lot of love from her friends and the audience, Alia Bhatt’s mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor never misses the hype train to support her. Here’s what she has to say!

On Tuesday, September 10, actor Neetu Kapoor took to her Instagram stories and a solo poster of her daughter-in-law looking intensely into the camera. Putting the film’s introduction music in her story she wrote,  “Our Jigra out to get hers,” with a fire and a heart emoji. Their bonding is so cute as Neetu Kapoor never fails to excite Alia Bhatt on her projects.

But the Jigra star’s mother-in-law isn’t the only one supporting her film, her mother Soni Razdan also took to her Instagram stories and shared the teaser of the film with a caption, “This is such an unusual teaser… cannot wait to see the whole film! Well done everyone.”

Jigra’s 2-minute, 49-second teaser trailer provides a sneak peek at what the audience might expect. It introduces the characters Satya and Ankur, played by Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina respectively. They play siblings in the film, and their relationship will be one of the main features. Satya trains with the support of Manoj Pahwa’s character to save her brother from imprisonment.

The teaser trailer promises a film full of action and emotion. The song ‘Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka,’ sung by Vedang, was utilized in the backdrop to create a nice touch. The song was originally composed by RD Burman, sung by Kishore Kumar, and written by RD Burman and Anand Bakshi. In Jigra, Achint recreated the song’s soundtrack, with additional lyrics by Varun Grover.
