Why can’t people mind their own damn businesses? Why do they have to give their unsolicited opinions and comments on matters that do not concern them? Given how far we have come as evolved humans, it is really surprising that people feel entitled to comment on people’s personal choices. What is all the more weird and annoying about these people is that they just assume that they have the authority to comment on what and how a woman is supposed to dress. It is these jobless people who comment on what a married woman is supposed to wear to identify herself as being married. Now, coming back to why I am ranting so much is because of this public behaviour towards Alia Bhatt. It has not even been a week since she got married to Ranbir Kapoor and people are already trolling her on why she did not apply sindoor or wear a chooda in her first public appearance post her shaadi.
Alia Bhatt’s First Public Appearence
In a video that has been shared by a celebrity photographer on their Instagram handle, Alia is seen leaving to shoot for her upcoming projects. She is seen getting out of her car wearing a lovely pink salwaar kurta and also poses for the paparazzi. This is the first time that Alia Bhatt was clicked post her wedding to Ranbir Kapoor. See the videos below.
Instead of being happy for her or rather commenting how good it is to see her resuming work immediately after her marriage, people are trolling and that too for such a stupid reason! In the comment section of the above post, several people have unnecessarily pointed out how Alia is not wearing sindoor and the red chooda that marks her as a married woman. One Internet user has also pointed out that she is not looking ‘beautiful’ because she has not put vermilion in her hair parting.

No matter what a woman does or wears, her choice is always questioned by society. This is just absolutely frustrating!
