A video of Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s new house in Mumbai has been going viral on social media. What Alia Bhatt Said
On August 26, 2025, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram and wrote, “I understand that in a city like Mumbai, space is limited- sometimes the view from your window is another person’s home. But that does not give anyone the right to film private residences and push those videos online.” She pointed out how videos of her under-construction house were circulated by multiple publications without her knowledge or consent.
Bhatt pointed out that filming someone’s personal space wasn’t content but a violation. She wrote, “Think about it: would you tolerate videos of the inside of your home being shared publicly, without you knowing? None of us would.” She further made a humble request to everyone not to share those videos and for the media portals to take them down immediately.
