Alia Bhatt Drops Release Date For Jigra With Animated Video, She’s Co-Producing It Alongside Karan Johar!

There is no stopping for the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani star Alia Bhatt. After giving a blockbuster hit with her recent film opposite Ranveer Singh, the actress is already on to her next. And she has finally announced her next project officially. But this time, Alia Bhatt is not only coming on the big screen as an actress but has also shouldered the responsibility of her next film as a producer. The film titled Jigra’s announcement video was shared by the Gangubai Kathiawadi star on September 26 and it also comes with a release date.

For everyone who has been wanting to know their favourite star Alia Bhatt’s next big film, the wait is finally over. The star has revealed her project titled Jigra through an interesting animated version. With Alia Bhatt’s voiceover, the first glimpse of Jigra unveils the film’s title and an animated version of the actress. Through the voiceover, we learn the film might revolve around a sister’s love towards her brother and how she assures his security. Jigra will be directed by Vasan Bala. With this film, Alia achieves a new milestone in life as her production house Eternal Sunshine will co-produce Jigra with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The music for this film will be produced by Achint Thakkar and lyrics by Varun Grover.
