From Rekha To Deepika Padukone, Stars Who Graced The Special Screening Of Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’

Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi is hands down the most awaited film of the year and just like us film stars too are quite thrilled to watch it on the big scree. And as the film nears its release date, team Gangubai including Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Alia Bhatt, welcomed celebrities including veteran actress Rekha, Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza, Ishaan Khatter and others at the premiere night of the film. Minus the starry red carpet, the invitees were spotted in their cars, as they entered the venue. Dressed in the shades of white, actress Deepika Padukone twinned with Alia Bhatt and Rekha ji in her white saree. Other guests including Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor were spotted in shades of black and chocolate brown, with Sara Ali Khan in powder pink, hand-painted suit.

Continuing her streak of whites, Alia Bhatt opted for a white A-line suit. Other celebs on the guest list included Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi also appeared in white and red attires.

Praising the film and Alia Bhatt’s portrayal of Gangubai Kathiawadi, actor Vicky Kaushal took to his Instagram handle and mentioned, “Absolutely shook by the sheer brilliance at display in this Film. SLB sir you are a master! And Alia Bhatt, don’t even know what to say about you… breathtakingly amazing as Gangu. Hats off. Big screen cinema magic. Don’t miss it.”

Oh okay, now we can’t wait to watch the film. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film also stars Ajay Devgn, Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles and is slated to release on February 25, 2022
