After a heartwarming introduction by host Alan Cummin, she greeted the audience with “Namaskar.” She kicked off her presentation with, “Agla award ek aise film ke liye hain, jo angrezi me nahi hai,” teasing the crowd with a playful, “Don’t reach for the subtitles just yet.”
She then playfully teased the audience by asking them not to reach for the subtitles just yet. She continued, “While films speak in countless voices, what we celebrate is the language of cinema. And that one, we all speak fluently.” Fans were touched by the actress’s pride in speaking her language on an international stage, celebrating her roots in front of the world.
