We live in India and dodging all questions and comments around our appearance is a sport we have almost mastered. I mean, you enter a family gathering or meet a bunch of old friends, the first thing they’ll drop from their mouth is–”You lost weight?” “Your acne got worse right?” and more. Well, it is not just you or me but even celebrities who go through criticism and judgements of all kind.
Speaking about the same is actress Alaya F who opened up about everything that she has been shamed for, especially her weight. In a recent interview, Alaya spoke about being body shamed while growing up and how it impacted her. In conversation with India Today, the actress revealed that she has been both fat-shamed and skinny shamed.

Alaya revealed that the industry is quite competitive and very often people get trolled for their appearances. She also spoke about dealing with insecurities and being shamed for her weight while growing up, since she was a healthy kid. After all that, Alaya confessed that she worked hard to maintain a balanced diet and work out on time to get in shape, but looks like people still have issues with it. The actress further mentioned that today, she often gets skinny-shamed. Well, it is sad how women’s bodies are never left alone.
Not just Alaya, but many actresses in the past and recent times have revealed being shamed for their appearances. Latest example is Deepika Padukone being heavily trolled for her baby bump. Can there be anything more disgusting that this? On the professional front, Alaya was last seen in Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Srikanth and Freddy.
