Will Akshaye Khanna Return In Dhurandhar 2?
It’s time for fans to rejoice because according to a report by Filmfare, Akshaye Khanna is making his return to the sets of Dhurandhar 2 soon. Seeing him share screen space with Ranveer Singh again will surely be a treat to people’s eyes. The report also revealed that it will be a one-week shoot, which will primarily explore Rehman Dakait’s backstory and make his character more layered in the second instalment. Seeing Dhurandhar’s successful reception, fans’ hopes are high for the second part as the story is expected to focus on Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza Ali Mazari’s transformation and him taking over Lyari after Rehman Dakait’s death.

Before we address this question, it’s worth mentioning that Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, was released on December 5, 2025 and has since remained the talk of the internet. The film sparked multiple conversations among netizens. Apart from the abovementioned stars, the first part also featured R.
